OffLeaseOnly Out of State Department Breaks Sales Record with 320 Used Cars Sold Nationwide!
OffLeaseOnly out of state sales department made company history in March with the sale of an astounding 320 used cars shipped to just about every state, and some to other countries! This incredible hustle pushed company-wide March sales to an impressive 2,899 used cars, proving OffLeaseOnly truly is the Nation’s Used Car Destination.
In addition to out of state, OffLeaseOnly Palm Beach sold 905 used cars, OffLeaseOnly Miami sold 904 used cars, and OffLeaseOnly Orlando sold 770 used cars, completely turning over the used car giant’s inventory.
“I don’t think there is a state we did not deliver to this month,” said Anthony Ousley, OffLeaseOnly out of state lead finance manager. Alaska, Washington, Texas, California, New York and Maine are just a few of the far-flung states that OffLeaseOnly used cars were shipped to in March.
Tax season and the promise of a tax refund is something that typically drives March sales so it’s a great time to buy a used car. But it’s a dynamic that OffLeaseOnly owner Mark Fischer said many car dealers take advantage of by purchasing too many cars at inflated prices and subsequently charging their customers too much money.
“Off Lease Only will never go in that direction,” said Fischer, whose gigantic used car dealerships are known for prices that are thousands below retail. “We don’t follow the market. We set the market and even if it means sacrificing some sales, we won’t sacrifice our integrity.”
OffLeaseOnly’s rock bottom prices and policies of full disclosure and no dealer fees are other reasons why OffLeaseOnly out of state sales are through the roof. Selling cars to customers who can’t actually see or touch the vehicle they are interested in poses challenges. OffLeaseOnly out of state sales associates must quickly establish rapport and trust with their customers, answer questions and disclose every possible flaw in order to seal a deal. And they do it well.
OffLeaseOnly sales associate Manuel Morales should know. He sold an astounding 40 OffLeaseOnly used cars to customers in states from New Mexico and Georgia to New York and Michigan, making him the department’s top seller for March. He even sold five cars in one day, Ousley noted.
“I love to help people. It’s hard because my (first) language is not English,” said Morales, a native of the Dominican Republic who’s only been an OffLeaseOnly employee for three months. “I have a good relationship with my customers. I am not selling cars. I tell them I am making family and friends and they like that.”
Ousley said Morales is so successful because he “gets” what it takes to make a sale and also develop a long term relationship with his customers.
“This is his first car job. The glory out of it is that he doesn’t know the industry . He is doing this just by outstanding customer service,” Ousley said. “He has realized that what makes customers happy sells cars.”
The top sellers at OffLeaseOnly Palm Beach, OffLeaseOnly Miami and OffLeaseOnly Orlando are all repeat winners.
In Palm Beach, OffLeaseOnly sales associate Tolgar Caliskan was the top seller for March with the sale of an amazing 42 used cars. Caliskan attributed his success in March to lots of hard work that often involved six-day work weeks.
“Pay attention to what you are doing, focus on your job and work non-stop,” Caliskan said, chuckling.
In Miami, OffLeaseOnly sales associate Wilfredo Novoa was the top March seller with the sale of 49.5 used cars. Novoa’s high number of sales also distinguished him as being Off Lease Only’s overall top seller for March. Novoa’s win gives him six times in first place, and five times in second place.
Novoa admits he’s competitive.
“It’s my ego. I want to win all the time,” Novoa said laughing. “If I only sell one car or do a split deal, I’m mad at myself.”
OffLeaseOnly Orlando sales associate Al Fernandez took top honors for the third time in a row, selling 47 OffLeaseOnly used cars from Off Lease Only’s newest dealership. Fernandez completes lots of sales by providing great service with a smile, as evidenced by a recent customer review that was loaded with compliments:
“I must say, I have never experienced such quality service,” the customer wrote. “Al Fernandez patiently helped us as we test drove approximately 10 different cars (from BMW’s to Jaguars to Mercedes)…this was an all day process for us and he never ever complained. His phrase to us all day was, I’m going to help you find the right car, I will never stand in your way.”
The customer further noted that Fernandez went an extra step and set up an appointment for them at a mechanic.
“Thank you so much for making what can be a frustrating experience into one of the best experiences ever,” the customer added.
