While the open carrier is less-expensive, your car will be exposed to the elements during the trip home. A single carrier is undoubtedly the most expensive way to transport a car but, for some, it offers them greater peace of mind that their car is safe and secure. With a multicarrier, you will save money but you will also have to be flexible in terms of when it is that you need your vehicle to arrive. Multicarriers often pick up and drop off other new and used cars along the way, which can make the trip a little longer.
